How should we deal with unplayed positions? Should we put all interactions into our turns? Or should we PM you with negotiations and expect replies before we need to get our turns in.

Treat them like another player, though in this case I'm playing them. If you're going to DP them you need to keep in mind that DPing another nation is much harder than just a region.

So we can initiate trade normally with NPC states?
(assuming they're not crazy hordes or the like...)
